In a touch of irony, I am a complete homebody, and sometimes my SIMS reflect that trait as I try to get their skills up. However, I do like to have a variety of lots to choose from when I take my sims out on the town (mostly because the SIMS algorithm insists on a social need) . I also like to have the choice of many different activities on each lot. Going all of the way to a community lot to meet 3 people and do 1 activity is so boring and frustrating. As such, I do like to develop and expand community lots – even though a lot of builders don’t care for them.

inI can’t remember the exact date that I began playing The SIMS, but I am pretty sure it was during a winter storm in 2001-2002. My husband and I loved Making Magic. inMy wedding anniversary was this week, and I have been married to my best friend for 22 years now. The other thing that I have been doing for almost 20 years (December) is playing The Sims.
At the time, there was one base game, and one expansion pack out. Christmas in Arkansas was marked by a massive ice storm. Power was out across the state because the trees could not handle the weight of the ice, and would topple down, taking power poles with them. We went to stay with friends who had power, I picked up the game from Wal-Mart to help occupy my time.
